Board of Directors:
Rebeckah Bullock is the Community Development Specialist at Southwest Regional Planning. She works on a range of assignments from local planning assistance to resource protection, emergency management planning, and community and economic development. Rebeckah also provides grant administration for Community Development Block Grants.
Kevin Dremel is the Director of Keene Music Festival. He has been active in music performance, production and promotion since 1974. Kevin has been involved with community organization and development, event organization and promotion, and doing good for the community and for other people because, well, that’s just how it should be done.
Marcia Duffy, owner of Backporch Publishing, LLC, has lived in the Monadnock Region for 20 years. She has been writer and editor for more than 25 years, was an award-winning business reporter during her five years at The Keene Sentinel and has written extensively about entrepreneurship and small business for a variety of local, regional and national publications. She is also the co-founder and editor of the award-winning Monadnock Table magazine; publisher and editor for The Heart of New England.com, an online travel and lifestyle magazine about northern New England; and publisher/editor of Monadnock Small Business Journal … the region’s voice of small business & entrepreneurship. Marcia and her husband, Jim, live in Keene. They have two children, 23 and 17.
Katy Locke is founder and Board President of the Monadnock Time Exchange, a cooperative network that helps community members match unmet needs with untapped resources by exchanging our time and talents. When not volunteering her time, she works as office manager for Deep Roots Massage in downtown Keene.
Zack Luse is the founder of Paragon Digital Marketing, a full-service digital marketing agency serving businesses and nonprofits nationwide. Zach is a firm believer that doing good is good for business. He also serves on the Board of Advisors for Stay Work Play New Hampshire working to keep young professionals in New Hampshire. When he isn’t attached to a computer he might be found at the helm of a sailboat, scuba diving, mountain biking or trying to keep up with his two little boys.
Christopher McIntosh is an Insurance and Business Solutions Advisor at Clark-Mortenson Insurance & Financial Services. He is also a current participant in Leadership Monadnock Program, a 2015 Trendsetter Recipient, the Assistant Varsity Hockey coach for Keene High School and is a Board Member for Sy’s Fund, a nonprofit that supports young adults with cancer. Chris lives in Keene and spends his free time with his son.
Kin Schilling is a chef, artist and passionate advocate for the local food system. She worked with Toadstool Bookshop in Peterborough to open Aesop’s Table, the first bookstore café in the state, in 1992. She is the founder of the Cornucopia Project that connects children and community to growing and eating their own food.
Mitchell Shakour was born and raised in Keene, and returned to the region in the late 1970s after earning degrees in communications at Syracuse University. He owns and manages The Monadnock Shopper News, a business founded by his father. He has also owned and operated the Northfield Drive-In in Winchester, NH since 1979. He is married and has two children.
